Poor Farah – upstaged again…

  1. Pouty Lips says:

    Ha-ha! I like a little death humor.

  2. Susan Tuttle says:

i am shocked. i loved his music as a teen.

  3. pinklea says:

You know, I had similar thoughts when I first heard that Farrah was gone too: poor thing, she won't even get her own "deathday" (is that even a word? It should be: we say "birthday" don't we?). She'll always have to share it with Michael Jackson. That being said, I wasn't a huge fan of either of them, but I do feel a little sad today. Both were pop culture icons and they left us too soon.

  4. Dumdad says:

    She really is a Charlie's Angel now…

  5. Jazz says:

Pouty – Me too.Susan – He did change the face of pop music forever.Pinklea – I wasn't really a fan either, I don't much care one way or the other, but we're definitely going to be hearing a lot of Jacko music in the next couple of weeks.Dumdad – Bwahhaha!

  6. VioletSky says:

i never dared say that out loud. But thought it loudly…

  7. I kind of thought the same thing but also that Ryan must be pissed.Happy days,Joanie

  8. xup says:

The Grim Reaper has been culling celebrities like mad lately, hasn't he/she?

  9. ticknart says:

You know what would have made her death more ironic, if Cheryl Ladd had been the next to die.

  10. Suldog says:

Completes the three, as superstition would have it: Ed McMahon, Farrah, MJ.

  11. lime says:

    what a weird weird week

  12. geewits says:

Oh my but this is bizarre. I was sitting in a bar yesterday when my husband called and asked, "Did you know Michael Jackson died?" I replied, "What an asshole! Now he's gone and upstaged poor Farrah."

  13. Oh, that's funny – I thought much the same thing.

  14. Jocelyn says:

My first thought, too, was: "Well, there went Farrah's last chance to get on the cover of PEOPLE."

  15. Suldog says:

    Happy Canada Day, Jazz!

  16. Jazz says:

Aw Sully, thanks so much. What a sweetheart you are… I promise I won't tell.

  17. Rachel says:

ya know, thats EXACTLY what I said when I heard.

  18. Jill says:

No doubt there will be nonstop Michael Jackson coverage for the next two months, at least five "tell-all" books and legal battles that will go on forever. I haven't seen a frenzy like this since the untimely demise of Princess Diana. Priorities, ya know."In other news, we're at war in two countries and the government of Honduras was just overthrown…"

  19. Ricë says:

i'm with jill: this isn't Big News. celebrities have so little import when you're in the middle of war and death and poverty and people hurting and dying and going to bed hungry and losing their homes. what jackson did to himself was his own business; no need for us to treat it like a tragedy.
