My neighbour’s pink bike

Because I love the colour of this bike… i’m not a pinky girly girl by any stretch of the imagination, but damned if there aren’t certain shades of pink that make me drool. Real pinks, none of those washed out boring pinks.

Well, that’s just a nice-looking bike, period. The only thing that would make it more aesthetically pleasing would be coaster brakes, but you can’t have everything (or so I’ve been told.)

  2. XUP says:

I saw a woman the other day with a dazzlingly pink bike with sparkles all over it and she was the furthest thing from a pinkie that you could ever imagine. It would have made a great photo.

  3. geewits says:

It’s pretty cool looking and I imagine a bright colour like that adds an element of safety: easy to see.

You’re right. There’s just something darn tasty about the color of this pink. Makes me think of candy apples; or cotton candy; or just candy. I’m glad it’s not Pepto Bismol (what a word, eh?) pink, though now that I think of it, I don’t think I’d mind that either, the chalky pink. I contradict myself as I digress…

  5. Jazz says:

Sully – Coaster brakes? What are those? And why can’t you have everything?

XUP – You should drag your camera around!

Geewits – Heh, I had never thought about that. Pink as a safety element.

Paula – The gist being… PINK!!!!

  6. Rachel says:

Theres really only one shade of pink I like and thats the one. A hot pink that is not neon. I hate neon colors. I have one pink skirt, fyi.

  7. VioletSky says:

I would get around the pink issue by calling this fuschia

  8. Jazz says:

    Fuschia. Yep, it’s fuschia.

  9. Oh, funny – I just hit the comment thing so I could say it was fuschia and see you’ve just established that.
